A Brooklyn brownstone, slowed down.
The Park Slope residence was a study in restraint — a young family of five who asked for warmth without clutter, character without nostalgia. We removed two walls, restored the original plaster crown moldings, and built a kitchen island from a single salvaged slab of fumed white oak.
